三. 傳統藍牙技術提供軟件更新到Bluetooth 4.0申請FCC認證:
如果廠商在傳統藍牙技術基礎上升級軟件成為Bluetooth 4.0的話,產品是否需要重新申請FCC認證還是可以在原來基礎上報備呢?廠商比較關注的傳統藍牙軟件升級到Bluetooth 4.0技術申請FCC認證主要有以下兩種情況:
(1)如果僅僅是從傳統藍牙技術(小于Bluetooth 3.0,FCC認證設備等級為DSS)升級到Bluetooth 4.0(FCC認證設備等級為DTS)的話,需要重新申請FCC ID;
(2)如果產品是傳統藍牙技術和Bluetooth 4.0雙模技術的話,傳統藍牙技術升級到Bluetooth 4.0的話,只需要申請FCC C2PC(Class II Permissive Change)即可;
